Entrants may apply individually or in teams. Prerequisite for each entrant: not to be involved in the organization (Arduino) and/or the management of this initiative.
Participants in the Arduino Cloud Games competition will build a unique project relevant to a chosen category described on the official competition webpage. All projects must include the use of an Arduino Oplà IoT Kit in part or in full, which will be provided to selected contestants by Arduino SRL.
Projects must also make use of the Arduino Cloud platform as part of their design, programming or operation. Use of both the Oplà IoT Kit and Arduino Cloud platform must be demonstrable in the complete project’s material (for example, the required project build video).
More details can be found on the official competition webpage.
Initial applications will be made via the competition application form. Prospective participants must provide a pitch for a project idea that relates to one of the contest’s categories, and explain how the Oplà IoT Kit and Arduino Cloud will be incorporated, in part or in full.
Arduino will contact successful applicants privately, and provide a free Arduino Oplà Kit to be included in the project build. Oplà IoT Kits include a free subscription to the Arduino Cloud Maker plan, which the contestant can utilize if they don’t have their own Arduino Cloud subscription.
The project must include the following attributes:

Each qualified contestant (single or team) may propose only one project per category. You may submit project ideas for more than one category, providing each project is unique.
Only one Oplà IoT Kit will be provided per selected project, whether the proposal is made by a team or an individual.
The projects presented will be evaluated by a commission chosen by Arduino that will select the participants considered the best among those submitted. The evaluation and related choice by the Arduino commission will be based on the following criteria:
