URM06 - UART Ultrasonic Sensor

Ultrasonic sensors emit ultrasonic pulses, and by measuring the time of ultrasonic pulse reaches the object and back to the transducer, the distance of sensor from the target object is calculated. They are widely used in detecting displacement, thickness, distance, water level, material level and transparent objects.
 
The URM06 - UART Ultrasonic sensor provides very short to long-range detection and ranging from 20cm ~ 10m, comes in a compact, robust PVC housing and matches 35mm electrical pipe mounting. It comes with UART interface and works at high output acoustic power. The ultrasonic sensor detects objects from 20cm to 1000cm and provides range information with 1cm resolution. The URM06 has 15 degree beam angle which has excellent receive sensitivity. And it works best when detecting soft targets. The similar sensors are widely used in professional mobile robot systems such as Pioneer robots.

The module consists of an IR LED and a photosensor (phototransistor) pair. The light emitted by the IR LED gets reflected by any object placed in front of the sensor and this reflection is detected by the photosensor(phototransistor). Any white (or lighter) colored surface reflects more than black (or darker) colored surface.

When the reflected light is detected, it produces Digital HIGH (or Binary 1) output on the SIGpin. The on-board LED indicator will also glow. If no reflection is detected or if the object is too far from the sensor, the output on the SIG pin stays at Digital LOW (Binary 0). The on-board LED indicator will be off as well. The detectable range of this sensor is 7.5–40 cm.

The module incorporates a Rail-to-Rail Operational Amplifier to amplify the output of phototransistor. There is a potentiometer which can be used to adjust the gain of the amplifier, that is, sensitivity of detection.
With this sensor, you can build the following (but not limited to) applications: line following robots, optical encoders and object counting applications.

Note: This product is mildly sensitive to non-IR radiations also and hence any bright light on photosensor impairs or disturbs IR light detection.

The EMoRo 2560 is the first Arduino compatible controller with CE certification. Built around an ATmega2560 microcontroller, the EMoRo 2560 comes with a massive number of connections: 16 digital I/O ports with LED signalization, 8 digital I/O ports with ADC, 8 digital I/O ports for RC servo motor control with a separate step-down power supply, 8 general purpose digital I/O ports with dual pins for plug-and-play ultrasonic sensors, 8 analog input ports with ADC, 6 PWM capable digital I/O pins, An I2C & SPI port, 4 UARTs, 1 JTAG-10 header, 1 ISP-6 header, 1 USB Mini port

The EMoRo 2560 also includes a buzzer and an LED for simple signalling outputs, a 16 MHz crystal oscillator for timekeeping and a reset button alongside the on/off switch. Power can be supplied either by USB or an external power source. The input voltage is 6 – 18 Volts (6 AA batteries or a similar source). When using an external power supply the EMoRo 2560 provides the 8 RC servo motor channels with 5 Volts at 3 Amps, and the rest of the board with 5 Volts at 2 Amps.

Programming the EMoRo 2560 can be done using the Arduino IDE, with code libraries and examples for the EMoRo available in the Library Manager.
When you're ready to run your code it can be uploaded to the EMoRo 2560 via the USB Mini, JTAG-10 or ISP-6 interfaces.

The EMoRo 2560 uses an Arduino compatible bootloader, and no special programs or extra drivers are required.
Designed to be simple enough for beginners and flexible enough for advanced users, the EMoRo 2560 supports many plug-and-play (solder free) modules, including sensors, RC servo motors, relays, and displays. You can also extend the functionality of the board with GLAM modules, giving the EMoRo connectivity so it can be controlled with an Android device.

More advanced GLAM modules also add features like displays or a navigation suite including a groscope, accelerometer and compass.There are a number of safety features built into the board, including thermal shutdown, stepdown regulators, cycle-by-cycle over-current protection and under-voltage lockouts. This means the EMoRo 2560 is rugged enough to take a substantial amount of abuse, and will shrug off mistakes that would fry other boards.

Its design is based on the WSP2110 whose conductivity changes with the concentration of VOC gas in air. Through the circuit, the conductivity can be converted to output signal that corresponding to the gas concentration. This sensor can detect the gas whose concentration is up to 1 ppm. It’s suitable for detecting formaldehyde, benzene, toluene and other volatile components. This product can be used to detect harmful gas in the home environment.

Warning

The sensor value only reflects the approximated trend of gas concentration in a permissible error range, it DOES NOT represent the exact gas concentration. The detection of certain components in the air usually requires a more precise and costly instrument, which cannot be done with a single gas sensor. If your project is aimed at obtaining the gas concentration at a very precise level, then we do not recommend this gas sensor.

This is a HCHO(CH2O) sensor module. It can be used to measure HCHO in air. Through it, you can know the air quality. This sensor module is widely used in many air testing applications, such as indoor air quality, real time quality monitoring stations. Our HCHO sensor module can detect and measure HCHO accurately. Many advantages are available, such as strong anti-jamming capability, high stability, ATC, high sensitivity(up to 0.01ppm) and long life(2 years in air). Integrated with Gravity Interface which is easy to used, wide input voltage, and optional output signal, Our module can be almost compatible with all MCU. According our sample codes , an HCHO detector can be made very quickly.

This is a formaldehyde (HCHO) sensor module with small size, and Arduino compatibility. Through it, you can measure the concentration of formaldehyde in air and know the Real-Time air quality. It can be widely used in many air testing applications, such as indoor air quality, real time quality monitoring stations. Applied in a DIY formaldehyde detector is also suitable.

The common solution to measure HCHO in air is the reagent or colourimetric card. But this solution will occupy much time, and used only once. And the result is not very accurate and you just know probably. VOC gas sensor is second generation solution. it can detect HCHO roughly, because this sensor only expresses the whole concentration of VOC gas, not just HCHO only.

DFRobot Gravity Formaldehyde sensor module can detect and measure HCHO gas concentration accurately. Many advantages are available, such as strong anti-jamming capability, high stability, ATC, high sensitivity(up to 0.01ppm) and long life(2 years in air). Cautions:

1. When using the sensor module, do not touch the white sensing film.

4. Please keep the modules warming up for at least 5 minutes when first using.
5. The sensor shall avoid organic solvent, coatings, medicine, oil and high concentration gases
6. Please do not plug the sensor which on the module, and do not modify components on the PCB.
7. Excessive impact or vibration should be avoided.
8. Please do not use the modules in systems which related to human being’s safety.
9. Please do not use the modules in strong air convection environment.

CCS811 air quality sensor uses AMS's unique micro-hot plate technology. Compared with conventional gas sensors, it has lower power consumption, shorter preheating time, and smaller size. The internally integrated ADC and MCU allow it to collect and process data, and return via I2C.

BME280 is an environmental sensor that combines temperature sensor, humidity sensor, and barometer in one board. It has high precision, multiple functions, small size, etc. The sensor offers ±0.5℃ temperature error and ±2%RH humidity error.

It provides very stable performance within the detection temperature range. Besides, the offset temperature coefficient is ±1.5 Pa/K, equiv. to ±12.6 cm at 1 °C temperature change.

NOTE: The chip has stretched the clock in I2C. So, it may be not compatible with some controllers, such as Raspberry Pi.

TS80P is the upgraded version of TS80 Smart Soldering Iron. TS80P is a smart soldering iron powered by USB Type-C® PD2.0/QC3.0 standard input, which can be powered by charging plugs, power banks and mobile power supplies that comply with PD2.0 (12V 3A)/QC3.0 (9V 2A) standard. Its output power has been increased from 18W to 30W max, with an 8-second heating time at fastest from room temperature to 300℃, meeting a wider range of soldering.

TS80P controller is made of aluminum alloy through CNC into a compact structure and high-tech design, ergonomic, beautiful and fashionable. The controller is also equipped with an OLED screen, so that you can monitor the status of the soldering iron at any time. Moreover, it features a brand new easy-push tip fastener, which provides a best holding experience and an easy push to loosen the soldering tip for quick replacement. With a built-in smart chip, TS80P can smartly control the rise and fall of tip temperature, and features sleep, automatic power-off, safety protection and other modes. The code application layer is open source; you can develop firmware for the soldering iron freely as needed.

TS80P shares the same tips with TS80. The soldering tip has an internal thermal ceramic heating core, and through the pure copper heat conduction, it can quickly transfer heat to the tip of soldering tip, achieving an excellent temperature control performance.
